This website, captainsaidsaidi.com (the “Site”), is owned and operated by S2 Legacy Marketing Management, a sole establishment licensed by the Department of Economy and Tourism, Government of Dubai (E-Trader Professional Licence No. 1519684), owned by Said Saidi — Captain Said Saidi — Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”), which is the controller of your personal data. We respect your privacy and handle personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies to visitors from the EU/UK, the GDPR.
What we collect
- Information you send us through our forms (contact, guest application, brand collaboration, speaking and coaching booking, course waitlist): your name, email address, phone number, company or brand, social handles, and the message or details you choose to share.
- Technical data created automatically when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring URL, kept in standard server logs by our hosting provider for security and performance.
- Cookies. The Site uses only strictly necessary cookies (for example, to remember your language and for caching). We do not currently run advertising or analytics trackers. Embedded content from YouTube, Instagram or TikTok may set their own cookies under their policies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal, booking or guest invitation (performance of a contract or steps before one).
- To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and understand how it is used (legitimate interest).
- To send you updates you have opted in to, such as course launches or new episodes (consent — you can withdraw at any time).
Who sees your data
Your data is stored on our website server and email system, both provided by Hostinger. Form submissions are emailed to us and stored in the Site’s database. We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help run the Site (hosting, email delivery, spam filtering) under contract, or when the law requires.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact so we can follow up; data related to a signed engagement is kept for the duration of the engagement and as required by UAE accounting and tax rules. Server logs are rotated automatically within a few weeks.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email contact@captainsaidsaidi.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
