These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of captainsaidsaidi.com (the “Site”) and every booking, purchase, course, collaboration request or other service offered through it. Please read them before you book or pay. By using the Site, placing an order or ticking “I agree” at checkout, you accept these Terms.
1. Who we are
The Site is owned and operated by S2 Legacy Marketing Management, a sole establishment licensed by the Department of Economy and Tourism, Government of Dubai (E-Trader Professional Licence No. 1519684, valid until 18 June 2027), owned by Said Saidi — known publicly as Captain Said Saidi — a content creator, storyteller, coach and speaker based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (together the “Operator”, “we”, “us”). The Operator also holds a UAE Media Council advertiser permit (No. 3480177). Contact: contact@captainsaidsaidi.com, or the contact form on the Site. We aim to answer within 48 hours on working days (Sunday to Thursday, Gulf Standard Time).
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to book or buy on the Site. If you buy on behalf of a company or a government entity, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. Where the Site lets you create an account (for courses), you are responsible for keeping your login confidential and for all activity under it. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. What we offer
Through the Site we offer: (a) private one-to-one sessions and coaching packages delivered online (Google Meet) or, by arrangement, in person; (b) online courses and learning material through the Academy; (c) keynote speaking, workshops and moderation for events; (d) brand and government-campaign content collaborations; and (e) applications to appear as a guest on the Success Majlis podcast. Descriptions, durations and prices are those shown on the Site at the time of your order. Items (c) and (d) are always confirmed by a separate written quotation or agreement, which prevails over these Terms for that engagement.
4. Bookings and appointments
How a booking works. You place an order on the Site (an order can have a value of AED 0 for complimentary sessions), you receive an order confirmation by email, and you then choose a time on the Operator’s Google Calendar booking page. Your appointment is confirmed only when the calendar confirmation and the Google Meet invitation reach your email. Times are shown in Gulf Standard Time (GMT+4) unless your device shows otherwise.
Rescheduling and cancelling. You may reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time, using the links in your calendar confirmation. Inside 24 hours you may reschedule once; a second change inside 24 hours, or a cancellation, forfeits the session fee. If you join more than 15 minutes late, the session may be shortened or treated as a no-show at the Operator’s discretion. If the Operator has to cancel, you choose a new time or a full refund.
Complimentary sessions. Introductory sessions may be offered at AED 0. The same booking rules apply, and we may decline further complimentary bookings after a no-show.
Conduct. Sessions are confidential and respectful on both sides. Recording a session requires the other party’s consent. We may end a session without refund in case of abusive or unlawful behaviour.
5. Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are stated in United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED). Your card issuer may convert the amount to your own currency and may add a conversion fee that we do not control. The Operator is not currently registered for UAE Value Added Tax under Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017; if registration becomes required, VAT will be shown separately at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change does not affect an order already confirmed. If an obvious pricing error appears on the Site, we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full.
6. Payment
Payments are processed by licensed third-party payment providers (such as Stripe or Ziina) through their secure checkout. The Operator does not see or store your full card details. By paying you confirm that you are entitled to use the payment method. An order is placed when you click the confirmation button at checkout; a paid order is complete when the provider confirms the payment. If a payment fails or is reversed, the related booking or access may be suspended until it is settled. Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank — most issues are resolved within a few days.
7. Refunds and cancellations
We follow the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations) and the law on trading by modern technological means (Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023). In addition to any rights those laws give you:
- Single sessions: full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start time; no refund for cancellations inside 24 hours or for no-shows, except one free reschedule as described in section 4.
- Coaching packages (several sessions): unused sessions are refundable pro rata within 60 days of purchase; after 60 days unused sessions may be rescheduled but are not refundable.
- Online courses: full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have completed less than 20% of the course content and no certificate has been issued. After that, access is non-refundable because the content is digital and immediately available.
- Keynotes, workshops, brand and government collaborations: cancellation terms, deposits and refunds are those written in the quotation or agreement for that engagement.
- Refund method and timing: refunds are made to the original payment method, normally within 14 business days; your bank may take additional time to show the credit.
Nothing in this section limits statutory rights that cannot be excluded under UAE law, or under the mandatory consumer laws of the GCC country in which you reside.
8. Online courses and digital content
When you buy a course you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the content for your own learning, for the access period stated on the course page (lifetime access means for as long as the Academy operates). You may not share your login, download, copy, resell, publicly show or redistribute course material, or use it to build a competing product. We may update, replace or retire content to keep it current. Certificates of completion, where offered, confirm participation only and are not accredited qualifications.
9. Speaking engagements, brand and government collaborations
Requests for keynotes, workshops, moderation or content collaborations are proposals until both sides sign a quotation or agreement setting out deliverables, dates, fees, payment schedule, usage rights and approval rounds. Sponsored or paid content is produced in line with the UAE Media Council advertising standards and the Operator’s advertiser permit, including clear disclosure of paid partnerships, and in line with the platform rules of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn. The Operator keeps editorial independence and may decline briefs that conflict with the law, with public morals in the UAE, or with the Operator’s values.
10. Intellectual property
All text, photographs, video, audio, graphics, logos, course material and the names Captain Said Saidi and Success Majlis™ on the Site are owned by the Operator or licensed to it and are protected by Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights and by trademark law. You may share links to the Site and quote short extracts with attribution; any other use needs written permission. If you submit material to us (for example a guest application, a testimonial or a comment), you grant the Operator a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it in connection with the Site, the podcast and related social channels, and you confirm you have the right to grant it. We will remove a testimonial on request.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its accounts or its infrastructure; introduce malware; scrape or copy the Site in bulk; place fraudulent orders or bookings; harass the Operator or other users; or post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful or otherwise contrary to UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combatting Rumours and Cybercrimes. We may suspend or cancel bookings, accounts or access for breaches.
12. Important disclaimers
Coaching, sessions, courses and content are educational and motivational in nature. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, immigration or investment advice, and they do not replace advice from a licensed professional. Outcomes depend on your own decisions and effort; we do not guarantee any particular result, income, follower growth or career outcome. Third-party services used to deliver our services (Google Meet, Google Calendar, payment providers, social platforms) are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by UAE law, the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data or loss of opportunity arising from the Site or our services, and the Operator’s total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Privacy and communications
We process personal data in accordance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect (such as your name, email, phone number and order details), why, and your rights. By booking, you agree that we may contact you about your booking by email and, where you provide a number, by WhatsApp or phone. Marketing messages are sent only with your consent and you can opt out at any time.
15. Third-party links and platforms
The Site links to third-party platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google) and may embed their content. We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.
16. Events outside our control
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including illness, internet or power outages, platform failures, travel disruption, government action or force majeure. Affected sessions are rescheduled; if rescheduling is impossible within a reasonable time, prepaid amounts for the affected service are refunded.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on the Site with its “last updated” date; material changes to booking, payment or refund rules apply to orders placed after the change. Please check this page before each purchase.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai. We ask you to contact us first so that we can resolve any concern amicably within 30 days. Failing that, the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. Consumers in the UAE may also contact the Ministry of Economy’s consumer protection channels or the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai. If you are a consumer residing in another GCC country, these Terms do not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer rules in your country of residence.
19. Language
These Terms are published in English and Arabic. Both texts are provided for your convenience; in case of a difference in meaning, the Arabic text prevails where UAE law so requires, and otherwise the English text prevails.
